We wrote about the matter in the article Will the school in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka be phased out?

The mayor of Gmina Bolesławiec has begun talks with teachers and the Parents’ Council about changing and lowering the school’s organizational level.

– I am not taking any action to close the primary school in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka – says mayor Andrzej Dutkowski. – This is information chaos. I am conducting public consultations aimed at lowering the school’s organizational level. The plan is to leave preschool-age children and children in grades one through three at the school in Dąbrowa, and transport children in grades four through eight to the school in Kraśnik Dolny. We met with the teachers and discussed this because we guarantee employment for all the teachers who currently teach at the school. I understand the teachers’ concerns, because it is easier to teach five or seven children than more than twenty. However, I will say that I am critical of the teachers because what happens at a staff meeting is covered by official confidentiality. Meanwhile, the information leaked to people before I had set a date and met with the parents. Such a meeting will probably take place next week – the mayor adds.
