Bolesławiec criminal investigators detained a wanted 29-year-old resident of the City of Ceramics. “The man was convinced that he had devised the perfect plan, creating a hideout in his apartment that was concealed by kitchen cabinets and everyday objects,” explains asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “He carved a recess in the wall, where he hid whenever police officers appeared near his place of residence.”

She adds:

Experienced officers thoroughly searched the wanted man's place of residence and discovered his hideout.

The quasi-game of hide-and-seek ended with the 29-year-old man from Bolesławiec being sent to prison, where he is to serve a sentence of two years and four months for burglaries. What is more, the man is suspected of stealing catalytic converters, so his stay in prison may be extended further.
