There are 17 million people with cerebral palsy worldwide. The aim of the activities organized by the community of the Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych was to raise public awareness and show solidarity with people with cerebral palsy
On this day, students and pupils created beautiful artworks in various shades of green, the color associated with this day. The artworks decorated the area around the school. Teachers prepared creative games and activities for younger children in the beautifully arranged Sensory Experience Room. Older students took part in classes addressing empathy, emotions, and understanding people with cerebral palsy. They also watched excerpts from the film Life Feels Good, which tells the story of a boy with cerebral palsy.
The event concluded with a group photo of the school community and the release of green balloons. It was a day full of joy and kindness. Together, we played for 17 million people and showed a small part of a smiling world.
