On Wednesday (24 February), the Zonal Jelenia Góra Schools Championship semifinal in girls’ volleyball was held in the sports hall at Primary School No. 1 in Bolesławiec.
The representation of Lower Secondary School No. 3 in Bolesławiec took first place. Joanna Kutryba’s players defeated their opponents from Lubań 2:1 (25:20, 22:25, 15:11), from Porajów 2:1 (25:15, 22:25, 17:15), and from Mirsk 2:0 (25:4, 25:16). The Porajów team came second. The girls from Mirsk and Lubań took the following places.
In addition to our volleyball players, the players from Porajów, who finished second in the tournament, also advanced to the zonal final.
