As we read on the GIS website:
The Chief Sanitary Inspector warns of a cyberattack. Criminals are sending fake SMS messages from the sender “Quarantine”, containing information that the recipient has been placed under quarantine.
Sanitary authorities add:
The message also contains a link supposedly leading to an information page. Opening the link may be dangerous for the recipient’s device.
And they appeal:
Please do not open the link and delete the message from your phone.
For our part, we will only add that fraud is a crime punishable by six months to as much as eight years in prison.
