Renovated corridors and rooms, modern kitchen equipment, new furniture in most rooms, photo wallpapers in the kitchens and corridors, and higher-standard equipment enabling the dormitory to meet epidemiological requirements—these are just some of the changes. All this was made possible by funding obtained by Bolesławiec County from the Government Local Investment Fund.
“Safer During the Pandemic—Renovation of the School Dormitory in Bolesławiec.” Bolesławiec County submitted an application under this title to the Government Local Investment Fund in September 2020. The decision to award the funding came quickly, already in December 2020. Bolesławiec County received PLN 400,000 in funding to carry out the project.
The investment is nearing completion: all construction work has already been finished, and most of the planned equipment has been purchased. Young people studying at schools in Bolesławiec are already benefiting from the project, and the facility’s staff are also pleased with the changes.
As living conditions at the dormitory improve, the educational offering of Bolesławiec County also benefits in terms of providing accommodation for students of our schools who live outside Bolesławiec.
