A reader sent us a description of an incident that was posted on social media. In her post, the woman warned people to watch out for a man around 30 years old who was allegedly driving an old blue Volkswagen Polo. The information posted indicated that the man was driving alongside the woman near the stadium and suddenly “started masturbating.” The woman wrote that the man drove behind her, and that, fearing him, she took shelter in a nearby shop.
The woman added that when she took shelter in Żabka, the man continued circling the shop for another half hour. Frightened, she called her mother, but by the time her mother came to pick her up, the man was gone. Unfortunately, no one took a photograph of the registration plates. The woman remembered that he was of medium build, had brown hair, was 30–35 years old and wore a green shirt.
The police confirm that they received similar information on the afternoon of September 15.
“We received such a report today,” says spokesperson Łukasz Król. “According to the report, the man let this person cross at a pedestrian crossing, then stopped, parked and allegedly engaged in indecent behavior there—he allegedly exposed himself. We checked the area. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate him afterward because the reporting person called from home after the incident. According to the information provided by the caller, the man was driving an old Volkswagen in a dark color. The reporting person has not officially reported to the police station or filed a complaint in this matter so far. As standard procedure, we prepared documentation and will keep such vehicles in mind,” the spokesperson added.
