The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 15, in the morning. Firefighters were dispatched to an incident on the Wierzbowa–Gromadka route. The driver of a Volkswagen Golf, a 19-year-old resident of Polkowice County, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The vehicle rolled over.

The driver was attended to by a medical rescue team. Fortunately, the teenager did not suffer any more serious injuries. The young man was given a warning.

Firefighters from Wierzbowa, Gromadka and Bolesławiec, as well as the police and the medical rescue team, took part in the operation.
