The District Police Commander in Bolesławiec invites people interested in serving in the Police to an open day – August 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. – at the headquarters at 20 Zygmunta Augusta Street in Bolesławiec.

Who is the ideal candidate for service in the Police?
Someone who:
- has at least secondary education;
- is physically and psychologically fit for service in armed formations subject to special service discipline, to which they are ready to submit;
- provides assurance of maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information;
- has a regulated status regarding military service – in the case of persons subject to military qualification. (A police officer’s service relationship is established by appointment on the basis of voluntary application for service. Appointment may take place after completing basic military service or after transfer to the reserve. This means that a person unfit for active military service in peacetime (category “D”) who is simultaneously a reserve soldier meets these conditions. Therefore, having health category “D” does not disqualify a candidate applying to join the Police);
- has Polish citizenship. Holding dual citizenship does not disqualify a candidate during the recruitment process;
- has an impeccable reputation;
- has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offense or a fiscal offense;
- enjoys full public rights.
