The incident occurred during the night of 28–29 August. Volunteer firefighters from Raciborowice:
[…] at 3:39 a.m., we were dispatched to a garage fire in Iwiny. Upon arrival at the scene, the room was completely engulfed in flames.
They added:
One hose line was deployed for offensive firefighting, and the remains of the structural elements were dismantled.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Firefighters from Bolesławiec, Warta Bolesławiecka and Raciborowice, as well as the police, took part in the operation. The police are determining the cause of the fire.
