After physical activity – both adults and children – they can drink water from the convenient fountain at any time. The installation of the fountain is another element of the campaign promoting drinking tap water in Bolesławiec.

On 18 August, the official “opening” was conducted by the mayor of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, and PWiK president Józef Król, who emphasizes that Bolesławiec’s water is bacteriologically clean.

The water in Bolesławiec is drawn from deep wells and contains no bacteria. Water from the Bolesławiec sources contains an average of 49–52 mg/l of calcium, 2.8–3.6 mg/l of potassium and 5.8–10.4 mg/l of magnesium.

The inauguration of the drinking water fountain at Wiadukt Plaza concluded the replacement of plastic bottles with glass ones, but it did not end the #pijezkranu campaign. Everyone present at the ceremony received glass bottles bearing the campaign logo.
