– Officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec police unit, serving as part of the provincial SPEED group, confiscated 6 driving licences within 10 days due to excessive speed in built-up areas, reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.

She adds:

Drivers continue to disregard the limits. Exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h in a built-up area means losing one’s driving licence for 3 months, receiving a fine and penalty points.

In recent days, further drivers have been stopped in Bolesławiec County because they were driving too fast in built-up areas, including:

  • In Bolesławiec, a 32-year-old exceeded the speed limit by 70 km/h.
  • In Warta Bolesławiecka, a 28-year-old was driving at 117 km/h.
