The Ceramic Festival returned—and in grand style—as two major Polish stars performed for the Bolesławiec audience on Friday, August 20. The first to take the stage was Roksana Węgiel. The career of the young singer, who became the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2018, is clearly gaining momentum. And Roksana’s Friday performance showed that this is no coincidence—and that the successes achieved by the teenage artist are thoroughly deserved. Popularly known as Roxie, she enchanted an audience hungry for live musical experiences.
Part of the audience, however, had been waiting above all for Warsaw-based Kwiat Jabłoni. The band of Kasia and Jacek Sienkiewicz performed songs from both of its albums: “Niemożliwe” and “Mogło być nic”. Their biggest hits were also included.
The group delivered an excellent concert. Kwiat Jabłoni’s music, which can appeal equally to fans of indie folk, poetic song and pop, will surely remain in the memories of many listeners for a long time.
