The idea behind the workshops was to create conditions for active recreation based on the following therapeutic methods: snoezelen, sensory play, augmentative and alternative communication, hand therapy, social skills training, and horticultural therapy. An important element was also the implementation of measures aimed at preventing the social exclusion of people with disabilities and facilitating their social participation.
The sensory activities were prepared and conducted by teachers from PZSiPS in Bolesławiec: Bogusława Piaskowska, Magdalena Dul-Hutnik and Katarzyna Gondek-Wieczorek. Each day was filled with themed attractions and activities. Participants took part in games and activities designed to stimulate the senses, such as:
- a journey to the North Pole,
- a space expedition,
- a Hawaiian adventure,
- an enchanted garden,
- the world of fairy tales.
