The main aim of the “Together for Borówki” project is to improve the village’s image by renovating information boards and welcome signs located throughout the village, as well as integrating and mobilizing residents through joint action for the benefit of the entire community.
The project includes activities intended to encourage even more tourists to visit Borówki, a village located at the gateway to Przemkowski Landscape Park, including:
- marking Borówki’s attractions with new information boards,
- putting up three educational boards about the village,
- creating a herbal trail in Borówki – the Village of Forest Gifts,
- preparing and printing a brochure about Borówki, including the village’s accommodation offer,
- a quest—an educational outdoor game around Borówki,
- conducting two educational workshops for classes from Lower Silesia,
- mobilizing residents to promote Borówki and improve its image.
The project will be implemented in Borówki, in Gromadka Municipality. The residents say:
Our village is a tourist destination located in the buffer zone of Przemkowski Landscape Park, and we care greatly about the positive image of our village among the guests who visit it.
The project is being implemented under the “Act Locally” program, carried out as part of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and with the support of the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland, Wrzosowa Kraina Foundation and Gromadka Municipality.
