The relatives of 34-year-old Bartosz S., who died after a police intervention in Lubin, are demanding a second autopsy. The family’s attorney, Wojciech kasprzyk, claims that there are marks on the 34-year-old’s body resulting from pressing his head against the asphalt.

– We were not present at the autopsy and were not allowed to attend it. (...) The regional prosecutor’s office stated that Bartek had several scratches on his face and neck. I wanted to show you what the scratches on Bartek’s head look like. Are these scratches? These are bruises, blood effusions covering his entire face. These were probably caused by pressing a knee against his head and the asphalt – argued Dr Wojciech Kasprzyk.

The prosecutor’s office had earlier stressed that the autopsy carried out on Monday had not revealed injuries that could have contributed to Bartosz S.’s death.
