Police officers went to the scene. The suspect was detained and taken to the police headquarters. But that was not the end of the matter. The spokesperson said:
That same day, another resident of Zgorzelec County reported to a police unit and also reported an attempted rape, identifying the detained man as the perpetrator.
The 33-year-old man was charged. At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded him in custody for three months. The aggressor now faces a sentence of between two and as many as twelve years in prison.
