Posters with anti-Polish content appeared in Bolesławiec in July last year. 24-year-old Jurgen D., 21-year-old Robet G. and 23-year-old Stephan R. will stand trial for insulting the Polish nation and inciting hatred between Germans and Poles.

The posters were put up at bus stops and on noticeboards. Their content suggested that Poles had murdered Germans on a mass scale and that displaced Germans were demanding the return of their property.

Bolesławiec was not the only place where such posters appeared. The same offenders had previously operated in Jelenia Góra, Karpacz, Piechowice and Szklarska Poręba. They were arrested by Bolesławiec police in mid-July. Officers found 250 posters on them, which they intended to put up.
