The three-day project “Ceramic City – Polish-German visual arts workshops” is an international art workshop for the whole family. The activities will consist of four visual arts elements particularly connected with the region of Lower Silesia and Upper Lusatia.
The art activities are held under the patronage of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, while the ceramics, painting and sculpture classes will be led by lecturers from this university.
Friday, 20 August, 14:00–20:00, and Saturday and Sunday, 12:00–18:00
- CERAMICS – workshops in shaping clay on traditional potter’s wheels, and workshops in painting on bisque with the Academy of Fine Arts
- SCULPTURE – clay sculpting workshops with the Academy of Fine Arts
- PAINTING – drawing and painting workshops with the Academy of Fine Arts
- MASK DESIGN – workshops in creating masks in any style with a local art instructor
- RHYTHM – drumming workshops using various types of percussion instruments. Participation in the workshops does not require musical skills. The drumming workshops will be led by Mariusz Raźny from Pracownia bębnów in Wrocław.
