The incident occurred on Sunday, 1 August. As reported by volunteer firefighters from Trzebień:
At 2:20 p.m., our GBA 2.5/16 unit was dispatched to a road accident on provincial road no. 297, near the village of Kozłów. On site, it turned out that a passenger car carrying one person had left the road.
The uniformed officers add:
Our actions consisted of securing the scene and providing qualified first aid to the injured person.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Trzebień, as well as a police patrol and a medical rescue team, took part in the operation. The latter assisted the injured person.
