The date of the charity ball organized by the Parents’ Council operating at the Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych, in cooperation with a military unit, has changed. The event will take place on April 10 at the former military casino (al. Wojska Polskiego). The proceeds from the ball will be used to benefit the school’s students.
With the money from ticket sales, the organizers would like, for example, to purchase additional hours at the swimming pool for students of PZSiPS and pay for hippotherapy sessions.
Tickets cost PLN 90 per person (they can be purchased at the U Szwejka restaurant on al. Wojska Polskiego and at the Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych on ul. Zgorzelecka). The price includes, among other things, three hot meals, a cold buffet, drinks and dancing to live music.
That evening, the Tierra Flamenca dance group will perform, among others. In addition, an exhibition of works created by PZSiPS students will be on display at the former military casino. There will also be a raffle and an auction of works by artists with disabilities.
