We received the following report from a Reader:

The paid parking lot at the district office is closed for the weekend and is empty!!! What sense does that make? Shouldn’t the town be for its residents? Once, we called the district office and they opened it for the weekend.

They add:

Now they have closed it again. Can’t the parking lot be made available and the barriers opened for residents at least for the weekend? Nothing will happen to anyone. Where are we supposed to park? Family is coming for the weekend—are they supposed to leave their car 1–2 km from home?

The district authorities reassure residents:

[…] the parking lot at the District Office is available every day of the week and operates in accordance with the regulations displayed at the parking cashier’s booth.

They add:

On 17–18 July 2021, the entrance barriers to the parking lot were raised due to a system failure caused by heavy rainfall.
