– Over the past three days, officers of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained 11 wanted people, carried out 161 interventions, checked the sobriety of 359 drivers, inspected 73 vehicles and 345 people, and recovered a bicycle and a car – reports warrant officer Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
Friday
- A resident of Lwówek County was detained. The 25-year-old broke a court-imposed driving ban by getting behind the wheel.
- Two men, aged 36 and 37, were arrested; they were wanted in connection with thefts they had committed. What is more, one of them had marijuana on him.
- Police officers also detained three wanted residents of Bolesławiec County, aged 21, 24 and 45, who had convictions for driving while intoxicated and wanted to avoid the consequences.
- A 36-year-old man sentenced by the court for property damage was arrested.
- Officers also detained two men who were reasonably suspected of driving under the influence of intoxicating substances.
Saturday
- On the night from Friday to Saturday, traffic police recovered a vehicle that had been lost in Złotoryja County.
- Police officers from Nowogrodziec detained a man who threatened to injure a shop employee. The 40-year-old was taken into police custody.
- In Bolesławiec, traffic police detained two men who were driving after consuming alcohol.
- A patrol detained a 32-year-old from Nowogrodziec Municipality who has a six-month prison sentence to serve.
Sunday
- On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Bolesławiec district officers found two types of drugs on a 40-year-old man during a check: marijuana and methamphetamine.
- On the evening of July 25, detectives recovered a bicycle and detained a 37-year-old man responsible for stealing property worth PLN 2,500.
