On Saturday, July 24, the BKS senior team played its first friendly match ahead of the 2021/2022 season. The game took place at the Water and Sports Centre field on Spacerowa Street in Bolesławiec. The match ended in a 5–1 (3–0) victory for BKS.
It should be noted, however, that the Bolesławiec coach had a much larger squad at his disposal than the Twardy Świętoszów coach. This was significant given the hot weather that day.
The friendly was a good opportunity to test a new formation and check out new players. In less than a month, both teams will face each other in the league, this time competing for points. BKS Bolesławiec will play its next friendly on Wednesday in Lubin against the local Górnik.
Goals for BKS: Kapusz (5′), J. Kowalonek (37′), Medyński (44′, 71′), Ostrowski (48′). Goal for Twardy (Zarzycki, 75′).
