The incident took place on Friday, July 23, in the morning. A Volkswagen stopped in Osiecznica. “Two children got out of the car,” the shaken Reader recounts. “The man sitting in the car magnanimously allowed the children to say goodbye to the dog.”
Then they got back into the vehicle and drove away. And the dog… was left behind.
The woman saw the entire incident because she was on her way to work. Unfortunately, she had no way to react. A resident of our county comments:
“This is so outrageous to me… To throw dogs out by the forest with children?!”
She adds that this is not the first such case in this location. What happened to the dog is unknown. It probably ran after the car carrying the people who abandoned it.
We remind you: abandoning an animal is treated as cruelty toward it, and this is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison. (For now, it is unknown whether the police will handle the case. We will return to the subject if new information emerges.)
