Honorary patronage of the event has been taken by Zenon Piątkowski, the son of the trail’s creator, who actively practices regional tourism, including cycling tourism. The rally will be an excellent opportunity to spend free time actively, as well as a chance to discover interesting places, historical landmarks and natural monuments in the vicinity of Bolesławiec.
The yellow trail named after L. Piątkowski, running around Bolesławiec and measuring approximately 59 km, has been divided into two parts: northern and southern. The first stage (northern) will cover approximately 28 km of route running through Bolesławiec – Kruszyn – Kraśnik Dolny – Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka – Bukowy Las – Bolesławiec and will take place on 25 July 2021 (Sunday). The second stage (southern) covers approximately 31 km of route running through Bolesławiec – Kruszyn – Łaziska – Stare Jaroszowice – Suszki – Kraszowice – Bolesławiec and will take place on 15 August 2021 (Sunday).
Both parts of the rally will start at 10:00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Department of the History of the City of the Bolesławiec Museum (14 Kutuzowa Street) and finish at approximately 3:00 p.m. at the
MOSiR Water and Sports Centre (26 Spacerowa Street) with a joint picnic, during which there will be fitness competitions and quizzes testing knowledge of the tourist attractions of the Bolesławiec region, with book prizes available to win.
