Over the past weekend, officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters once again had their hands full:

  • They carried out 130 interventions.
  • They checked the identities of 360 people.
  • They detained 14 people suspected of various offences.
  • They checked the sobriety of 138 drivers. (Six had been drinking.)
  • They checked 70 vehicles. They seized four registration certificates and the driving licence of a 33-year-old who exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by 69 km/h.
  • They carried out a series of search operations related to the disappearance of two people.

Friday

  • A police patrol detained a 24-year-old resident of Lwówek County who was driving with almost 3 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
  • Criminal investigators detained a 45-year-old man who had robbed a resident of Bolesławiec. The man was taken into police custody.
  • Traffic police detained a 30-year-old resident of Złotoryja County who got behind the wheel despite a court-imposed driving ban.
  • During an evening check, community police officers found marijuana on a 25-year-old man.

Saturday

  • In Nowogrodziec, officers from the Traffic Division detained a 62-year-old man from Lwówek County who committed two offences when he got behind the wheel: he violated a court-imposed ban and drove while intoxicated.
  • During a domestic intervention in Kruszyn, officers detained a 24-year-old man who violated the bodily integrity of one of the officers.
  • Police officers from Nowogrodziec detained a 22-year-old driving a passenger car despite a court-imposed ban that remained in force until September 2021.
  • In Nowogrodziec, Bolesławiec traffic police detained a 56-year-old resident of our county who was driving a van, as well as a 62-year-old man from Lwówek County riding a moped. Both men had more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol in their exhaled air. (The two-wheeler driver will additionally be charged with violating a court-imposed ban on driving any motor vehicle on public roads.)
  • In Bolesławiec, traffic police detained a 21-year-old resident of Lubusz Voivodeship who was driving after consuming alcohol.
  • Also in Bolesławiec, an intoxicated domestic-violence perpetrator was detained; the 25-year-old had abused his mother. The Blue Card procedure was initiated.

Sunday

  • On the night from Saturday to Sunday, in the Nowogrodziec municipality, Bolesławiec traffic officers detained a 42-year-old man suspected of stealing fuel by breaking into the tank of a lorry.
  • On Sunday in Godzieszów, police officers from Nowogrodziec detained a moped rider; the 39-year-old had almost 3 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
