– Officers from the Economic Crime Unit of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, acting jointly with officers from the Customs and Tax Control Department in Zgorzelec, have shut down another illegal gaming venue, reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
She adds: “Based on operational findings, officers entered a building in the Nowogrodziec municipality, where they found three machines. The confiscated machines, valued at more than PLN 30,000, had games of chance installed on them and were being operated for commercial purposes. Organizing such games requires a concession necessary for running a casino.”
