Przemysław Ratajczyk of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – All those involved in the accident were transported to a hospital in Legnica. Unfortunately, the 51-year-old Volkswagen passenger died despite receiving medical assistance.

He adds: – Investigators, under the supervision of a prosecutor, will now clarify all the circumstances and the exact course of this tragic accident.

Police appeal:

Once again, we appeal to drivers to exercise particular caution on the road, and to show common sense, sobriety and prudence. Let us remember to adjust the vehicle’s speed so that we can always react in time to an emerging danger or obstacle. Drivers must be aware that when they take to the road, they become responsible not only for themselves but also—and perhaps above all—for other road users, who are often their loved ones. Excessive speed or driving after consuming alcohol poses a real threat to the lives and health of many people.
