Last Saturday, the Legnica traffic police investigated the circumstances of a fatal road accident that occurred on provincial road no. 364, between Legnica and Złotoryja. – According to the findings made by officers, the 25-year-old motorcyclist, leaving a petrol station, failed to exercise particular caution and did not give way to the driver of an Audi passenger car travelling towards Legnica – reports junior warrant officer Przemysław Ratajczyk from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – As a result of the incident, the young resident of Złotoryja County died at the scene.
The prosecutor’s office and police are investigating the case. Officers say:
We appeal to all road users to always observe the regulations and travel at a speed adapted to the applicable limits and ensuring control of the vehicle. Unfortunately, for people travelling on two-wheeled vehicles, a collision with a vehicle often ends in serious bodily injuries or death.
