The incident occurred on Saturday, June 26. Volunteer firefighters from Gromadka:
At 1:25 p.m., we were dispatched to a road collision in the town of Gromadka.
They added:
Upon arriving at the scene, we provided assistance to the injured.
According to police findings, the 24-year-old driver of an Audi failed to exercise due caution and, while turning left, failed to yield the right of way to a Volkswagen driven by a 23-year-old man. Both participants in the incident are residents of Bolesławiec County, and both suffered serious injuries.
The injured people were handed over to a medical rescue team. Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Gromadka, as well as the police and the medical rescue team, took part in the operation.
