In the away match of the 27th round of the Jelenia Góra regional league, BKS Bolesławiec defeated Nysa Zgorzelec 4:2 (1:0) on Saturday, 26 June. BKS’s goals were scored by: Jakub Kwoczka, Michał Kapusz, Adrian Biały and Piotr Kuczyński.

Sebastian Tylutki’s team finished the competition in 3rd place in the league table and will continue playing in the regional league next season.

Before the decisive round, both BKS and Łużyce were competing for second place in the table, which was rewarded with promotion. Since Łużyce had the same number of points as BKS but a better goal record in head-to-head matches, they were in the more favorable position.

The Bolesławiec team could only count on a slip-up by Łużyce and on their own effectiveness. If Łużyce lost their match in Świerzawa, a draw with Nysa would have been enough for BKS to secure promotion. If Łużyce drew, BKS would have had to win its match to gain promotion.

A victory for Łużyce in Świerzawa would have secured promotion for the team from Lubań, regardless of the result of the BKS–Nysa match. A draw with Pogoń, combined with a draw for BKS against Nysa, would also have secured promotion for Łużyce.

Promotion to the fourth division was won by Pogoń Świerzawa in first place and Łużyce Lubań in second place. In Saturday’s parallel match, Łużyce defeated Pogoń 2:1 in Świerzawa.

Remaining in the regional league was secured by both Piast Wykroty (11th place in the table) and Twardy Świętoszów (8th place in the table). Relegated to Class A is GKS Warta Bolesławiecka (15th place in the table).
