In addition to its obvious charitable purpose, the collection is also intended to raise awareness of what recycling is and what benefits it can bring. The metal hearts would be placed in convenient locations accessible to every resident, while the towns where they will be located will be determined by the results of a vote on the Nowogrodziec news website.

website.The Najdroższa Blizna Foundation is a young organization created out of the heartfelt need of two mothers who, just a few months ago, needed support themselves: Agata Bojanowska and Justyna Śliwkiewicz-Sadowska. The Foundation’s president is Agata Bojanowska, a resident of Bolesławiec County and Zosia’s mother. In 2020, she organized a fundraiser for her daughter’s heart surgery abroad. It was very positively received in the region and supported by many people, companies and institutions from Bolesławiec County, including Nowogrodziec Municipality. Since its completion and Zosia’s successful surgery, Agata has actively helped residents, with the Foundation serving as the formal establishment of these activities. Its goals focus on helping parents expecting a child with a heart defect and children of various ages with heart defects. However, it also tries to help in other cases. The Foundation helped the late Danusia Sudół. One of the first people whom the Najdroższa Blizna Foundation helped as an officially registered organization was Wiktor Stelmaszek from Trzebień, who will soon undergo surgery in Boston.
The organizers want to recognize donors with big hearts, so as a thank-you they will display the logo of a company or the name of a private individual who generously joins the campaign.
