Construction of the new headquarters of the Bolesławiec police is underway. The building was originally supposed to be ready as early as October this year, but this deadline will not be met because of a problem with access. It is currently assumed that everything will be ready at the turn of October and November, or, in the worst case, only in December.

It can already be said with certainty that the Bolesławiec officers will have better working conditions. (They will have 6,500 sq m at their disposal, which is four times more than at the headquarters on Zygmunta Augusta Street.) What is more, the building will include a so-called police detention facility: 6 new cells for detainees. At present, detained persons are transported to neighboring headquarters. There will also be a room for service dogs.

Traffic reorganization

The main entrance will be from Modłowa Street. There will also be access from Cieszkowskiego Street, which will require changes to the traffic organization.

We will certainly return to this topic. More details can be found in the piece The new Bolesławiec police headquarters is getting closer.
