On June 18–20, in Bolesławiec County, police officers intervened 183 times, checked the identities of more than 260 people and caught 6 offenders red-handed.

Friday

In the early evening, in Iwiny, a car driver hit a cyclist. The injured person was taken to hospital. Officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident. In addition, police officers from Legnica serving in Bolesławiec arrested a 24-year-old man who was driving despite a court-imposed driving ban. Meanwhile, plainclothes officers arrested a wanted 46-year-old man who has to serve a four-month prison sentence for theft.

Saturday

Traffic police arrested a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec who was driving with more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air. In addition, a patrol arrested a wanted 28-year-old man, who was sent to prison for six months for theft.

In Nowogrodziec, a motorcyclist collided with a car while joining the traffic. The two-wheeler rider suffered injuries to his upper and lower limbs.

Sunday

In Nowogrodziec, community police officers arrested a man in possession of methamphetamine and a woman who attacked another woman. Police officers are currently carrying out procedures in both cases.

A burglar was also arrested; he has to serve a sentence of 1 year and 8 months. The Bolesławiec resident was sent to a correctional facility.

Weekend

From Friday to Sunday, traffic police inspected 71 vehicles, confiscated 4 driving licences and 9 registration certificates, and arrested 3 drivers who got behind the wheel after drinking alcohol. One of the drivers lost his licence for speeding in a built-up area.

In addition, police officers carried out various domestic interventions, checked bodies of water and secured locations where unexploded ordnance was found: Kruszyn and Świętoszów. In Osiecznica Municipality, officers are continuing to work at sites where dangerous items were discovered.
