Although all the competitions were held under special circumstances related to the pandemic, as many as 1,868 participants took part. A total of 950 students qualified for the county-level stages, including 156 winners.

The first part of the ceremony honored the youngest participants: those in the 1st County Art Competition for preschools and first-grade primary school students; the County Spelling Competition My Lower Silesia – discovering its secrets. The most beautiful places in Bolesławiec County for second- and third-grade students; the 18th Bolesławiec Mathematics Competition for third-grade students; and the Bolesławiec Mathematics Competition Boluś for fourth-grade students, held under the patronage of MZGK in Bolesławiec.

The next part of the ceremony recognized the winners of the Bolesławiec BOLEK Mathematics Competition for fifth- and sixth-grade primary school students; the 18th Bolesławiec Mathematics Competition under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Education Superintendent for seventh- and eighth-grade students; the 8th County Physics Competition under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Education Superintendent; and history competitions: the History Competition 230 Years of the Constitution under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Education Superintendent, and the 1st Bolesławiec History Competition From Antiquity to the Present.

The ceremony’s finale began with the presentation of awards to the winners of the 6th County Literary Competition Preserve It in Time. The competition is organized in cooperation with the Bolesławiec Seniors’ Council and the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec. An additional prize for three students is the publication of their works in the “Bolesławiec Yearbook.” Awards were then presented in the 1st Bolesławiec Literary Competition The Power of the Word – A Story with a Note of Optimism, or a Way to Cope with—and Not Only—This Difficult Time of the Pandemic and the Spelling and Language Competition My Lower Silesia – discovering its secrets. The most beautiful places in Bolesławiec County. All literary and spelling competitions were held under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Education Superintendent.

Winners in all categories received attractive prizes funded by the authorities responsible for the schools and preschools, as well as sponsors, including books, Empik gift cards, material prizes and admission tickets to a go-kart track.

The organizers once again congratulate and thank all competition participants, the winners and their parents and guardians, as well as the teachers and directors of the schools and preschools.
