The jury decided that the best entries were written by Paula Mierzwa and Anna Wączyna—both from the Primary School in Czerna—as well as Anna Laura Wilas from Żeliszów and Monika Dorosz from Municipal Middle School No. 4 in Bolesławiec.
The competition’s winners will take part in the provincial stage of the local heritage competition.
The “Poznajemy ojcowiznę” competition encourages young people to learn more about their places of residence, their surroundings, and their families and their history.
