It became widely known as early as the end of 2018 that KFC was to be built in Bolesławiec. At that time, an application for a building permit for a restaurant of the popular chain was submitted to the county office. However, because the plot was sold to another investor, the application was suspended.
A few days ago, a new application for a building permit for a KFC restaurant was submitted to the Bolesławiec county office. The investor is the plot’s new owner, a company from Poznań, which will construct the building. The restaurant is to be built on Cieszkowskiego Street, on the parking area by the Lotos fuel station. Ultimately, the building will be operated by AmRest, the owner of, among others, the KFC chain.
It appears that restaurants belonging to two popular chains will be located near the Lech Kaczyński Roundabout in Bolesławiec. One is KFC, and the other is McDonald’s. The latter restaurant is to be built on the other side of the roundabout, on Kościuszki Street. An application for a building permit for this restaurant was submitted at the beginning of April 2021.
