On Sunday, 17 January, the Municipal Nativity Play Review was held in the gymnasium of Primary School in Ocice. Six teams took part in the competition: the 4-H Club from Łaziska, Primary School in Bożejowice, Primary School in Brzeźnik, Primary School in Ocice, Primary School in Kraśnik Dolny and Primary School in Trzebień.
The Nativity plays were excellent. The young performers had enough enthusiasm to match several professional actors. The competition committee (comprising: Zofia Michalska, Bożena Długosz and Edward Krawczewski) awarded first place to the students of Primary School in Brzeźnik. The young actors from Primary School in Trzebień took second place. The children from Kraśnik Dolny won third place.
The jury also awarded a special prize. It went to the little ones from Ocice.
The audience was entertained by singers Natalia Żebrowska from Bolesławiec and Kasia Tobiasz from Żeliszów. The event was organized by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, and Primary School in Ocice.
