On Saturday, traffic officers detained an intoxicated driver who, with more than 2‰ of alcohol in his system, lost control of his car and went off the road. On Sunday, meanwhile, during a traffic check in Szczytnica, officers from the Traffic Department detained a 46-year-old man from Bolesławiec who was driving with 2‰ of alcohol in his exhaled air and was wanted in connection with numerous thefts. The man has nearly three years of imprisonment to serve.
On 12 June in Bolesławiec, in a multi-family residential building, a police patrol detained a 29-year-old man responsible for breaking into four cellars and attempting to enter two more rooms. The recovered items were returned to their owners.
On 13 June, criminal investigators detained a 22-year-old man fleeing the scene of a crime. The offender had robbed an apartment undergoing renovation.
Over the past weekend, officers also detained a 39-year-old man with narcotic substances—methamphetamine and marijuana—and his colleague, who will be held responsible for insulting police officers during an intervention.
The officers also carried out various domestic interventions. One of the perpetrators, a 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, had more than 2.5‰ of alcohol in his exhaled air. The aggressor was detained because he posed a threat to the household members.

Furthermore, police officers discovered a mother driving a car with her one-year-old son on her lap. The woman was not wearing a seat belt, and the car was not approved for road use.
That was not the end of it, however. In a car park beside one of Bolesławiec’s supermarkets, two cars were initially involved in a collision. Then, while reversing, another vehicle struck the already damaged car. The driver turned out to be a man whose driving privileges had been revoked, and the car did not have valid technical inspection.
