A native of Bolesławiec, Patryk Kubik will take part in the casting for the Polsat show Ninja Warrior. “I train for obstacle races and that is what I focus on most. However, after submitting the application, I received a positive response, so I thought I could not let such an opportunity pass me by. I booked a plane ticket and went to Poland. My casting is at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday,” the athlete told istotne.pl .
Interestingly, this is not the Bolesławiec resident’s first appearance on the show. Last year, he qualified for the next stage. His plans were thwarted by the pandemic and COVID restrictions. The Bolesławiec resident has lived in London for seven years.
How does he assess his chances now? “I feel strong,” he assures us. He adds: “I will definitely make it to the next stage. Last year I was not as well prepared; I had taken a five-year break from training and lacked grip strength, strength and endurance. Now I train 10 times a week.”
The Bolesławiec resident regularly takes part in events such as Barbarian Race and Runmageddon, and has even qualified for the European Championships. However, as he says, even if he succeeds in the Polsat programme, he does not plan to return to Poland.
On Wednesday, June 9, keep your fingers crossed for our fellow citizen. The casting will take place in Piaseczno, near Warsaw.
