Tragedy in Zgorzelec County. 3-year-old child dies. Police seek witnesses

The Investigative Division of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, is conducting an investigation into a tragic road accident. The incident took place on Sunday, June 6, at approximately 3:35 p.m., on the W352 road between Zgorzelec and Bogatynia, near the village of Koźmin (Zgorzelec County).

“An Audi and a Volkswagen were involved in the incident. Unfortunately, a 3-year-old child died as a result of the injuries sustained. Therefore, we ask all witnesses to the incident, as well as drivers whose vehicles were equipped with dashboard cameras, to contact the police in person or by phone at 47 87 322 50 or 47 87 322 00,” reports Sub-Inspector Agnieszka Goguł, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec.
