Officers from the Kowary Police Station detained a 26-year-old man suspected of making criminal threats, theft, failure to stop for a traffic check, possessing drugs and driving a vehicle under their influence.
– On 31 May this year, the man was detained immediately after threatening to take his former girlfriend’s life and set her on fire. The woman feared for her life and health. In addition, the man stole her mobile phone worth PLN 4,000. The 26-year-old was held in police custody. The spokesperson said: – The man was also charged with previously committed offences, namely failing to stop for a traffic check, possessing drugs and driving a vehicle under their influence.
The detainee could face a prison sentence of between three months and as many as five years.
