The classes are organized in cooperation with Nadleśnictwo Bolesławiec at the forest nursery in Osieczów. All second-grade classes signed up—18 classes from all primary schools in total. Around 400 second-graders from Bolesławiec are therefore taking part. For many of them, this is their first school trip, as they began their education in the “COVID” school year of 2019/2020.

During the classes, the children learn about the forest and its inhabitants, learn how to respect and care for it, and discover the work carried out at a forest nursery. Their knowledge will be tested in a competition involving representatives of all classes taking part in the workshops. It will be held on June 10 at the Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Centre.

Organizers:

We already wish everyone success in the forest challenge, and to the participants of the trips still to come, above all, beautiful weather, as this year it has been exceptionally capricious.
