– Officers from the Zgorzelec Border Guard Post and police officers from the Zgorzelec “Nysa” group of the Criminal Department determined where a Peugeot vehicle stolen in Germany might be located, reports 2nd Lt. SG Joanna Konieczniak, press spokesperson for the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit.
She adds:
As a result of the actions undertaken, the officers recovered the car, which was located in the municipality of Bogatynia. The owner valued it at PLN 170,000.
The officers are now investigating all the circumstances of the incident. Let us recall that theft is punishable by imprisonment from three months to five years, while burglary carries a sentence of one to as many as ten years in prison.
