The incident occurred on the night of May 23–24 in Marczów (near Wleń, Lwówek Śląski County). As reported by the lwowecki.info website:
The sheep were grazing in a fenced area in the center of the village, right next to a county road. The wolves entered the meadow by digging a passage under the mesh fence.
The predators killed six lambs. The other six were seriously injured. The case is being investigated by the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Wrocław.
