Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn established through operational activities that a resident of Gromadka Municipality possessed illegal tobacco products. KPP:
While checking the rooms used by the 62-year-old in a detached garage, the officers found 5 bags of cut tobacco. The seized goods weighed nearly 100 kilograms.

The total value of the seized illegal tobacco products resulted in an excise-duty shortfall of PLN 85,000 and a VAT shortfall of more than PLN 23,000.
The police are now investigating where the seized property came from. The 62-year-old faces up to 3 years in prison, as well as severe financial penalties.
