The technical condition of the road makes it impossible to use it fully. The spring and autumn periods are particularly difficult for residents, as the road is partially impassable at those times.
And they add:
The main reasons for reconstructing the above-mentioned road were to provide access to and a route to residential areas, improve road-user safety, reduce road maintenance costs and increase driving comfort.
What will be done?
Details of the investment are provided below:
- A road with a total length of 539 linear metres and a width of 3 metres will be reconstructed.
- A two-layer asphalt surface will be installed along the entire length, together with road access crossings.
- Road drainage will be ensured by profiling the carriageway’s cross slopes, reshaping the existing roadside ditches and reinforcing them with JOMB-type openwork slabs, which function as infiltration ditches.
The task will cost approximately PLN 230,000. The funds have been allocated in the budget of the Nowogrodziec Municipality.
