The incident occurred on Thursday, 13 May, in one of the houses on Obrońców Westerplatte Street in Bolesławiec. A female postal worker noticed a man lying through the window. Thinking that something might have happened to him, she knocked insistently on his door, but he did not respond, so she notified the emergency services.
The uniformed officers forced their way into the premises. The 67-year-old man was already dead. The involvement of third parties was ruled out.
