On May 6, after 9 p.m., a Bolesławiec patrol responding to an incident received a report that a vehicle had been damaged while parking on one of the city’s streets.

When the police arrived at the scene, the driver who had caused the collision was not there. During their investigation, officers determined that the vehicle had been driven by a 27-year-old Bolesławiec resident. A breathalyzer test explained the cause of the collision. The woman had a blood alcohol concentration of 2.3‰ in her exhaled breath.

The suspect faces the loss of her driving licence, financial penalties and up to 2 years in prison.
